SEPTEMBER 2019 -- The pandemic shut down movie production by the studios for half a year, and that has created opportunities for independent movies like "50CV" that were finished last year after  COVID-19 started to spread. What makes this one even more unusual is how it began, with a small budget and crew made the shoot difficult but manageable

"50CV" is the story of a Man from second generation Filipino immigrant who is trying his best to chase his dream despite of language barrier. His Mother is a house cleaner that gives him a motivation  to prove that there's another option of job if he doesn't stop finding the passion he loves to do.

The "50CV will be competing 1st or 2nd quarter of 2021 to the Film Festivals around Europe. and hoping to bring pride to his country.

Barcelona com escenari de bodes 2017 -  Being asian wedding filmmaker in Barcelona, Rj was Invited to share his experience and told how his works contributed to the tourism industry in terms of visual storytelling featuring Barcelona famous landmarks as a perfect place to get married. 

 

The workshop, in short, served to share experiences, techniques and styles in a fruitful dialogue for anthropological reflection and also for professionals aware of the value of their work.

Rj's Wedding videos was exhibited in Museu Etnològic de Barcelona throughout the year with other Photographers and Videographers from Latin America and European Country.

 

BARCELONA: A LOVE UNTOLD MOVIE 2016 - Being active in videography industry, this movie came to me by chance or let's call it a fate maybe. Started when I told my story to the Director and Writer while having our location scouting and after the talk, I didn't have any idea that my character will be included in the movie and has to be acted by myself too. So being coordinator turned to be an extra actor was really a big challenge for me since it was my first time but nonetheless I did my best and the most important was I delivered what the Director's expected from me. By the way you can watch this movie on NETFLIX.

2021 JANUARY -  The past 10 years have been nothing but a roller coaster ride for RJPLACINOFILMS. It is indeed true when people say that time flies when you love what you do and that is what exactly happened in the past decade. From sweet 18th Birthdays to magical Weddings, RJPLACINOFILMS has been part of it all. Capturing once in a lifetime moments and unforgettable events that are definitely to be cherished.

 

As a new year begins, RJPLACINOFILMS is now broadening its horizons and decided to take on a new challenge. It will now open its door to Fashion and Product Commercial. Having said that does not mean that RJPLACINOFILMS will now leave the production for events but will only up its game and is now trying to reach wider varieties of clients.

 

So, here’s to 2021 and to all of our new endeavors!!
